I love breakfast. It’s my favorite. But if it wasn’t I would still eat it every single morning. Breakfast is absolutely the most important meal of the day. And if you’re trying to lose weight then I suggest you start taking breakfast seriously gosh darnit! Starting your day out with a nutritious meal reduces hunger, promotes healthy choices, and refuels your body.
I literally eat this egg white scramble at least 3 times a week. I am giving you the simplest recipe but I included some optional ingredients that are delicious if you have more than 7 minutes. Here it is .. the measurements aren’t exact. But don’t worry, you can’t mess it up. It’s that easy.
1 cup 100% Liquid Egg Whites (approx. 4 large eggs)
1/4 cup Diced Orange Bell Pepper
1/4 cup Diced Red Bell Pepper
1/4 cup Diced Red Onion
1/4 cup Diced Roma Tomatoes (optional)
1/4 cup Sliced Avacado (optional)
1 Slice 100% Whole Grain Fiber Bread (Optional)
Cracked Black Pepper (Optional)
Directions: In a pan, sautee peppers and onions on medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Add egg whites to pan and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Top with avacado & roma tomatoes.. and you’re done! Ta Da!
